2024’s Raft Race sets a new way forward!
We are partnering with Driftwood Adventure to provide a safe and fun way for people to get involved with having fun on the water and giving spectators a good show.
There will be:
- Fun on the water
- Racing to watch
- Unique costumes and creative decorations
- Prizes for the fastest and the best dressed raft
- Free to enter!
- Andy Chung giving his ever brilliant music and banter alongside this!

The event will take place 2.30pm-4.30pm on Sat 15th June 2024 in the Lochrin Basin, near to the Leamington Liftbridge.
Driftwood will be providing you with a ‘raft’ of two canoes lashed together, plus paddles and safety equipment. Your mission – should you choose to accept it – is to decorate the raft using the creative and ingenious materials that you bring with you. We also very much hope your team will come in full themed fancy dress!
Each raft can take up to 6 people, but a maximum of 4 adults. Dogs, cats and parrots are also welcome to form part of your team! It is free to enter :
