Activities are for the duration of the Festival (12pm-4.30pm) unless a specific time is given.
Bridge 8 Hub Taster Sessions (12-2.30pm) Try out our Akwakats … a different approach to cycling on the canal! Donations welcome.
Biketrax eBike taster sessions and bike hire.
The Four Sisters Boatel (12-3pm) Open day house boat. Ever wanted to holiday or even live on a houseboat? Come and see what life is like on board our luxury holiday let boat. Light refreshments available.
Octangle Beauty Short treatment demos, mini taster treatments and goodie bags.
Live entertainment Music and entertainment (12-2.15pm) ahead of the Raft Race
Raft Race (2.30pm-4.30pm) Have YOU entered?
Watershed Coffee Barge Normal service of drinks and snacks to enjoy, sit down or takeaway.
Lochrin Belle Canal Boat (static) Hop on board for some free creative activities led by a local artist, Fiona Maher.

Edinburgh Printmakers (Stall) Demos and talks by artists and printers plus information and guided tour down to the Printmakers building.
The Sorted Project (Community Stall) Displays and photos of our work – support us by buying our lavender bath bombs!
Keep Scotland Beautiful (Community Stall) Pop-up museum with work from Craiglockhart, Longstone, Murrayburn and Sighthill Primary School, from their recent Union Canal Bicentenary projects.
Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust (Community Stall) Information about the Festival and our other projects – local health walks, volunteering on the Lochrin Belle canal boat and helping to maintain local green spaces. Plus claim your small prize for completing the Festival Scavenger Hunt here! (or at other stall at Harrison Park West)

Edinburgh Printmakers workshops and studio tours, exhibition gallery, shop and sunny courtyard.
Holy Cow Lounge (at the Printmakers) Vegan cafe.
The Grove Community Garden Open garden, Herbal tea, Homemade cake, plants available for a small donation, recipe ideas, Seed library expert.
Foragerium (12.30-2pm at The Grove) Workshop: Urban foraging, food preservation techniques and our place within the ecosystem.
The Forge Visit the Community maker-space!
Rhyze Mushrooms Log inoculation sessions – spawn your log, take it home and watch them grow!
Community Performance Stage A selection of entertainment throughout the afternoon 🙂
Espresso Green Artisan locally roasted coffee, tea and delicious homemade treats.

Boroughmuir High School With support from The Prince’s Trust, we are delighted to present our social enterprise Boroughmuir Beans. Our pupils are undertaking barista training. Profits go back into the business and further training.
Past Climates Group, Lyell Centre, Heriot-Watt University (Community Stall) Let’s talk about Past Climates! Interactive posters will guide you through the Past Climates to help you find out about the massive contribution that tiny fossils have in unravelling past climate change. Chat to members of our team and listen to poems and stories about ocean pollution.
Edinburgh Art Festival (Community Stall) Information about this year’s Festival -there are loads of Canal-based activities and collaborations for 2022! Plus EAF merchandise and free art activities.
HARRISON PARK EAST
North Merchiston Club Come and enjoy Café 48 for all, outdoor bouncy castle and soft play for the little ones and plenty of shows, workshops and demonstrations from some of our regular classes at North Merchiston Club.
Axe Boom Boom (4-4.45pm) Capoeira, Drumming and Acrobatics show!
People Know How & Polwarth Parish Church Refreshments, scones, activities in the garden, a space for quiet reflection, stalls, music and visiting the boat All Aboard.
Two’s Company Befriending (at Polwarth Church) Edinburgh City Mission’s activity to highlight loneliness and encourage small acts of kindness.

Forth Canoe Club Inclusive paddling community. Watersports taster sessions starting every half hour until 4pm. Donations welcome.

Birchwood Art Studio (2-3.30pm) Try your hand at figure drawing with life model and a tutor – stay 5 mins or 90mins!
