The Canal Festival takes place along the Union Canal between the Lochrin Basin and Fountainbridge Green. You start your visit to the Festival at any point along the canal!

As a local community festival, we encourage active travel and would promote walking, scooting and cycling to the event.
By Bus: Lothian Buses 1, 34, and 35 travel down Fountainbridge; 10 and 27 travel through Polwarth (Harrison Park East/Polwarth Church); 38 stops nearby on Ashley Terrace (near Harrison Park West).
By Train: Haymarket Station is approximately 10 minutes walk away.
By Car: There is an underground car park below EQ1 office complex at Edinburgh Quay, charges apply. Parking is also available a short walk away at the Fountain Park complex. There is limited pay and display parking in the area. Parking on single yellow lines locally – please park responsibly and respect local residents.
